Ryan Spelliscy

Co-founder, CEO, Chief Creative Officer

Ryan’s advertising career has spanned over a decade and has taken him from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco to Sid Lee in Montreal. At 36, he was named Chief Creative Officer of J.Walter Thompson, Toronto. It’s a post that made him one of the youngest people to ever run a top agency. Over the years, Ryan has worked on global campaigns for Adidas and Stella Artois, and Super Bowl spots in the USA. Fast Company calls his campaign for Hyundai Assurance one of the most memorable of the modern era. But the greatest project Ryan has ever worked on is raising his two sons.

Denise Cole

Co-Founder, Creative Director

Denise cut her teeth in advertising working alongside creative giants at Cutwater in San Francisco. Her time there shaped her approach to advertising, and that approach is simple: Make work you would proudly put on your wall in your home. With that goal in mind, she strives to turn ads into work that is beloved by the target it is designed to reach, and in doing so, connecting on a much more meaningful level. Denise’s work continues to win global recognition at Cannes, One Show, D&AD, and Communication Arts.

Kira Montgomery

Head of Connections Strategy

With a Master’s in Environment and Sustainability, Kira started her career as a management consultant. In 2012, she made the jump to advertising, where she has since held a number of senior strategic planning positions— spanning both creative and media agencies—driving transformational change internally and with client partners. Her brand and connection planning experience expands numerous categories, having worked with partners such as Coca-Cola, General Motors, RBC, Aurora, Mondelez, YUM, Honda/Acura, and DAZN.

Susan Holden

Chief Financial Officer

In no particular order: Susan is a Yale grad. CPA. MBA. Executive produced over 1500 TV commercials and hundreds of hours of animated TV program. 2-time Emmy nominee for Best Children’s Program. Founded Curious Pictures. Former CFO of Barbarian Group. Former CFO of Mother. Ran Mother Ventures, which invested in start-ups, including Kensington’s former condiments, which sold to Unilever in 2017 for $140 million. Ran campaign finance for Hillary Clinton. She’s a mom of 2 college students. Owner of a dog. Cat. And, finally, the CFO of Juliet.

Leanne Goldstein

Partner, Managing Director

Agency mom, as well as a mom to her own two little humans, Leanne’s passion for advertising (and life in general) can be said to be contagious. Throughout her 13-year career, she has fostered strong relationships with both clients and peers, working on a variety of brands including; Frito-Lay U.S., PepsiCo U.S., Virgin Mobile, General Mills Canada, Canadian Tire, Capital One, and KraftHeinz Canada. On a personal note, she hopes she can continue to pave the way for her daughters to grow up in a world where glass ceilings are constantly shattered and doing good for others becomes commonplace.

Mat Meir

Head of Strategy

Mat’s international experience has guided brands such as Nissan, Infiniti, Vodafone and Coca-Cola. In Canada he’s worked across most industries including FI, CPG, auto, QSR, tech and the fast-moving cannabis category. Beginning his career in account management with TBWA in the UK, with stints at Isobar Canada, and Movement London, Mat evolved his strategic planning expertise at John St and Grip Limited. He’s a firm believer in finding an authentic values-exchange between people and brands, with an approach to building long-term equity for his clients. Mat is an accredited research moderator through the Canadian Marketing Research and Intelligence Agency.

Andrew Schulze

Head of Production

Andrew has been in advertising for over 30 years having produced over 1000 communications for TV, radio, web, mobile, in-flight, elevator, stadiums, live events and more. He stands by the notion that there is something new to be learned on every project. He also participates with the ICA/ACA, discussing & clarifying industry issues, is a member of the ICA/ACA team representing the agencies during the ACTRA Agreement Negotiations and regularly teaches at the ICA Sponsored CPPP/ CCPM program.

Laurent Abesdris

Partner, Creative Director

Laurent is a Creative Director with a knack for creating ground-breaking, brand defining work; work that not only impacts the bottom line, but affects the culture at large. Laurent isn’t exactly old, but he’s been around the block, having worked at some of Canada’s most renowned and recognized agencies including J. Walter Thompson, Sid Lee, Cossette and TBWA/Juniper Park. As a copywriter, Laurent spent twelve years creating and leading award-winning projects for brands like PC Financial, Mazda, McDonald’s, Frito-Lay and Hotels.com. His work has been recognized both nationally and internationally by Cannes Lions.
